Reelio’s Williams is Executive Award Winner

Reelio CTO Ben Williams has been selected as a winner of the prestigious SmartCEO’s Executive Management Award for 2015.  Williams is a co-founder of Reelio, a New York City-based new media company that matches YouTube “creators” and businesses looking for exciting and innovative ways to advertise on the internet.

Williams is one of 40 top New York-area executives chosen for this award by a special committee that weighed the qualifications of more than 100 candidates. The committee says the winners stand out as the best at giving their CEOs the invaluable support needed to make their companies so successful.  The panel notes those being honored provide outstanding contributions both on the front lines and behind the scenes at their firms.

Thanks to the help of Williams, Reelio had a breakout year in 2014.  The company scored more than a million dollars in seed money and spent much of the year growing its staff and adding clients.  Billed as the “ of brands and creators on YouTube,” Reelio is breaking down the doors of traditional internet advertising by providing businesses a proven alternative to the old-fashioned snippet before a video–  a snippet most people don’t watch.  Instead, Reelio uses its unique methodology to pair YouTube stars–  many with millions of followers–  with firms that want to reach those followers.
